I invite you to honour your child’s
birthday this year by donating a book to our classroom. I will read the book to
the class while the children enjoy a special birthday popcorn party (provided
by me). A picture of the birthday girl
or boy holding their book will be placed inside the front cover to commemorate
their donation. Please note that the Birthday Book Club is optional and all
children will get a special popcorn party to celebrate their special day.
Children who have summer birthdays will celebrate in June.
In the past parents have sent cupcakes, cookies or cake to
school for the class but due to allergies, not all children were able to enjoy
the goodies and had to be excluded. The Birthday Book Club and Popcorn Party
are inclusive for all.
